Very High Polarization (VHP) Veja mais
Developed in Brazil in 1993, VHP sugar is a "hi-pol" raw sugar designed for high efficiency in transport and refining.
Appearance and Texture:
Color: Light brown to golden/honey hue, as it retains a thin layer of molasses around its crystals.
Crystals: Solid, uniform brown crystals with a medium to coarse granulation (approx. 0.6 mm).
Texture: Dry and free-flowing with lower moisture content than traditional raw sugars.
Flavor Profile:
Natural cane sweetness with a subtle molasses aroma.
Key Technical Specifications:
Polarization (Sucrose): Minimum 99.4% (often up to 99.8%).
ICUMSA Rating: Typically between 600 and 1200 units.
Moisture Content: Maximum 0.15%.
Solubility: 95% to 100% dry and free-flowing.
Primary Uses:
Refining Input: The primary raw material for producing ICUMSA 45 white refined sugar.
Industrial Applications: Used in large-scale food manufacturing, fermentation, and ethanol production.
Direct Consumption: Safe for human consumption in regions where unrefined brown sugar is preferred for baking or cooking
